Designers, producers, writers and artists will head to Melbourne on April 29 through May 3 for the AgIdeas International Design Week. Held annually, the International Design Week brings talent from all over the world to Melbourne for three days of innovation and conferences on design. Founded in 1991 by Ken Cato, the International Design Week has been considered one of the largest and premier design festivals worldwide.
International Design Week offers an inspirational set of events for amateur and seasoned designers to enjoy, with the focus on design as a difference. Over three days, 40 internationally celebrated designers will participate in a design forum, discussing topics ranging from graphic to web design and typography to architecture. Luminaries joining this year’s festival include Ian Anderson, UK; Nadine Chahine, Lebanon; John Crawford, New Zealand; Reiko Sudo, Japan; and local Australian, Andrew Ashton. Attend all three days for the opportunity to explore new vistas of design inspiration with award-winning professionals.
