Sew Blue Fashion 2013

Sew Blue endeavours to raise awareness about depression and other mental illnesses in order to aid in bringing these topics to the forefront of conversation and action in our community.

The Sew Blue Fashion Show 2013 was hosted at the Mandurah Quay Resort on Friday, September 27th. The runway show featured a nautical themed catwalk. In addition to the runway show, there were static model displays and a silent auction to raise money for this year’s charity, The Black Dog Institute who are a world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder.

Not only an advocate for WA fashion, but also supportive of this meaningful cause, Designz by Jamz was a Gold Sponsor for the event, dedicating design work and time to the fashion event. It feels great to be able to give something back to the community, whilst utilising one’s talents and interests — graphic design for a meaningful cause. Any excuse to fuse my passion for fashion, with creative design!

Designz by Jamz created the branding and designs for the event — invites, tickets and business cards.

  1. What a great cause! As a previous sufferer with depression and other mental illnesses I really appreciate this work. There is no denying that whoever did the design for this event knows what they are doing, and whoever designed the dresses is evidently very skilled.
